The young leaf buds, having been prepared since the previous fall, are filled with nutrients stocked up by the plant over the long, cold winter. This produces a the highest grade of tea leaf with an extra strong flavor. Handpicked from a select number of our best fields at the very beginning of the sencha season this is the youngest tea leaf you can find.

Grown on the Kinezuka Family's all-natural farm. Headed by Toshiaki Kinezuka, NaturaliTea has been growing all-natural tea for 36 years in Nakayama Village in Shizuoka, Japan. Their teas are grown at an altitude of 350m (1150ft), with the Yabukita cultivar.
